As we approach month end, it would seem that sales of “OLD PETER’S RUSSIAN TALES” have stolen a march on “HAWAIIAN FOLK TALES”
Once again, it is amazing to see how the dominant news stories are driving sales of folklore books. This has occurred as the Kilauea Volcano activity has become less sensational and the Football World Cup in Russia takes off. What’s next I wonder?
The top four this month, and which are unlikely to change are:
OLD PETER’S RUSSIAN TALES
HAWAIIAN FOLK TALES
JUST SO STORIES by Rudyard Kipling, author of THE JUNGLE BOOK
FOLKLORE AND FAIRYTALES FROM BURMA
